Award Winning Training Hub Finalists for 2023 Nursing Times Awards
It is an exciting time for Maggi Bradley and the Sefton Training Hub team as they have been shortlisted for Nursing in Primary Care award at the Nursing Times Awards.
We are thrilled that the Sefton Training Hub have been shortlisted for the award, and will be celebrating their achievement at the final on 25th October in a glittering live ceremony in London.
The Sefton Training Hub has been shortlisted for their learning disability project "A student led approach to improving healthcare for mental health patients and those with learning difficulties in a primary care setting".
The Aquarium project, led by Maggi Bradley, aims to enhance equality, diversity and inclusion within primary care by enabling people with learning disabilities to better understand and enhance their ability to input into their healthcare choices.
The Sefton Training Hub work with local higher education establishments and receive a high level of fantastic input and feedback from student learning disability nurses into the Aquarium project.
The Sefton Training Hub already has an award winning team as they recently won have won Partnership of the Year Award at the Student Nursing Times Awards along with Edge Hill University.
